After all of the excitement of movie making and winery overindulgence in week 6, this week it was back to reality. If anything it was even more mundane than our week 5 escapades.

It was a very chore heavy week, and I'm actually impressed with how much we managed to fit in.

Unlike week 5, I'm not going to waffle my way through another post about doing the laundry or washing the car. Instead, I'll just sum up our week at Myra Canyon Ranch through some pretty (and some not so pretty) photos.

We're Still not Bored of Snow!

After the snow eased off for a few weeks, we were getting a bit antsy for some more. The dumping that we got definitely did not disappoint, leading to me taking approximately 500 photo variations of this same scene...

In news that was both good and bad, we had higher temperatures than normal meaning the snow melted back pretty quickly.

This in turn meant it started "raining" on our downstairs neighbours, so Rich had some fun trying to clear our balcony. He was very ready for a beer afterwards!

Homecooked Food can be Yummy (and Healthy!)

Freshprep meal kits were a staple of our time in Vancouver and we were pretty sad when we moved here that, without an oven, we wouldn't be able to continue.

Fortunately, every few weeks, we manage to find four recipes that either don't need an oven, or that we can modify to cook on the BBQ.

Which means we get meals like these...

And that makes us very happy.

The Australian's sent us Beer!

Sadly, not the whole of Australia. That would have been amazing. What did arrive was pretty awesome though.

Richard's family in Australia clubbed together and arranged for a beautiful hamper full of local beer, snacks and even a bottle of Bailey's, to be delivered.

We've done our best not to dig into it too much before Christmas, but we have been a bit naughty which has given us even more reason to continue our daily walks around the ranch.

And other than the excitement of doing three loads of laundry, me managing to cut my knuckle when packing our food shopping and Rich almost falling over whilst cleaning the car, that was week 7.
